Founded in 2023 by Sarah Warner, WHIMJOY is a handmade jewelry line rooted in joy and self-expression. Each piece is handcrafted in her Greenville, South Carolina studio and inspired by bold color, creativity, and dopamine dressing.

In 2026, WHIMJOY was rebranded to more fully reflect its playful spirit and love of vibrant design, creating jewelry meant to be worn as a celebration of personal style.

WHIMJOY is designed for those who believe getting dressed should feel joyful. Each piece is made with intention, creativity, and the belief that small details—like a favorite piece of jewelry—can make a big difference.

Sarah's mom gave WHIMJOY it's name, explaining it is the opposite of a “killjoy.” It represents the choice to embrace delight, to welcome color, and to find joy both suddenly and continuously in everyday life. The name captures the brand’s playful spirit and serves as a reminder that happiness can be spontaneous.

Giving back is central to the brand’s mission, with a different charity featured each month as a way to spread joy beyond the jewelry itself.

Hailing from Chapel Hill, NC, Sarah Warner has always had an eye for detail and a deep love of color. As a natural creative, she long dreamed of building a line that would allow her to bring her ideas to life. WHIMJOY is Sarah’s dream in action.

When she’s not designing, you can usually find her watching a UNC basketball game (go Tar Heels!), spending time with her family, or sewing her newest favorite dress.
